Use of Higher Powered Crystalline Silicon Solar Panels to Maximize Space and Reduce Installation Time
Lake Mary, FL, January 16, 2013 – BlueChip Energy,LLC (BCE), a fully-integrated solar energy provider for residential, commercial and utility applications, today announced it will now be installing 250-260 Watt crystalline silicon solar panels on its portfolio of residential and small commercial projects throughout Florida.
The company plans to use high-performance mono-crystalline modules as they can deliver higher efficiency, lower installation costs, and a smaller system footprint.
“BlueChip Energy has a need to install more than one hundred projects in the next 30 to 45 days. The use of higher powered 250 to 260 Watt PV modules not only will create a greater output and value for our customers but will allow us to reduce valuable installation time by 20%” said Andy White, General Services Manager.
BlueChip Energy is providing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the 100 Megawatt (MW) Sorrento Solar Farm project currently under construction in Florida. Sorrento Solar Farm will be one of the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the United States.
