BlueChip Energy to Host 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour in Orlando on February 26th Solar Manufacturing Plant and Solar Farm Site Open to the General Public
Lake Mary, FL., February 17, 2011– BlueChip Energy (BCE) a provider of completer solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, government, and utility applications, today announced that it will be an event host for the 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour in greater Orlando on Saturday, February 26th.
The tour will travel through 10 cities across the state during February 2011 and will feature discussions of renewable energy legislation to be introduced in the 2011 Legislative Session. The tour will also feature industry and policy experts along with state and local elected officials. The Orlando event kicks off with a morning site visit to the BCE solar module manufacturing facility and solar farm in Lake Mary, followed by visits to local renewable energy and energy efficiency installations. Orlando is the last tour stop on the statewide schedule.
The afternoon will be a town hall style panel discussion and presentations from local and state legislators and renewable energy experts to be held at the University of Central Florida. Discussion topics include: local job creation and economic growth, free market forces, energy security, pending legislation, innovations in industry, municipal approaches, and economics of renewable energy.

The tour will be attended by local businesses, City, county, and municipal employees and local elected officials, City and local sustainability and green commissions, Regional planning councils and members, Renewable energy supporters and advocates.
